Vision
TheDepartment of Sociology was started in 2012 during the inception of theInstitution. Sociology Department aspires to provide letter quality of highereducation by retaining its standard of excellence in teaching. Sociology, a social science thatstudies human societies, their interactions, and the processes that preserveand change them. It does this by examining the dynamics of constituent parts ofsocieties such as institutions, communities, populations, and gender, racial,or age groups. Sociology also studies social status or stratification, socialmovements, and social change, as well as societal disorder in the form ofcrime, deviance, and revolution.
Mission
The department promotes sociology-Eco-friendlyatmosphere through value orientedmind set and reflective practices in concretefield situations. The objective is to educate, train and prepare students forsuccessful careers in theirchosen field. The faculty supports and encouragesthe learners for theiroverall development. The curriculum, teaching andservice demonstrates that thefaculty value.
